A well-equipped campus with laboratories, sports spaces, and services that support daily school life.
Mission

Mission

ISB’s mission is to provide an excellent international education that enables students to become confident, compassionate, and responsible global citizens. We combine academic achievement with personal growth: real skills, critical thinking, and independence.

We create an environment where curiosity and creativity can grow, with intentional, student-centered teaching. School is not only “lessons”: it is community, method, and continuity for local and international families.

The International School of Brindisi (ISB) was founded in 2025 by families and professionals with international experience, in response to a real local need: ensuring educational continuity in English in southern Italy after the closure of the previous international school.

Values

Values

ISB values are not slogans: they guide daily decisions, relationships, teaching, and student wellbeing. They are the iCARE framework that connects educational quality and school culture.

Integrity We promote honesty, fairness, and ethical behavior. Consistency between what we say and what we do builds trust.
Curiosity We nurture questions, exploration, and discovery. Curiosity fuels inquiry and deep learning.
Accountability We develop responsibility and continuous improvement: commitment, feedback, clear goals, and measurable progress.
Respect We build an environment based on mutual respect and inclusion. In an international school, this is also cultural competence.
Empathy We develop kindness and emotional understanding: essential skills for communicating and collaborating.

Approach

Approach

Our educational approach combines international best practices, student-centered teaching, and active learning. We work through inquiry, creativity, and authentic tasks connected to real-world problems.

In a multicultural community, the environment is designed to support transitions, independence, and socio-emotional wellbeing. The day is structured but not rigid: clear routines, explicit goals, and space to explore and build.

We support international families and globally mobile students by providing educational continuity in English and a school system that facilitates transitions between pathways and countries.

For students who reside permanently in Italy, ISB also provides support for equivalency pathways, helping families navigate the national regulatory framework.

ISB staff is made up of teachers and professionals with international experience, selected for competence, educational vision, and the ability to work in multicultural settings.

Teamwork, shared standards, and strong attention to the educational relationship ensure continuity, teaching quality, and real support for students.

In a small school, every student is known by name: this enables targeted interventions, effective communication with families, and a safe, structured learning environment.
