Student Life

Student Life & Services

A safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where students grow every day.

Wellbeing, relationships, and participation: school as a community.

Welcome, listening, and engagement

We believe learning happens best in a context where students feel welcomed, listened to, and actively involved in the life of the school community. Student life at ISB is designed to support students’ personal, social, and emotional development, in addition to their academic pathway.

Wellbeing

Wellbeing and safety

Student wellbeing is a daily priority.

At ISB we promote a school environment that is safe, respectful, and attentive to students’ emotional needs. Positive relationships and mutual trust are the foundation of school life.

Through clear routines, active listening, and collaboration with families, we support the development of self-esteem, resilience, and a sense of belonging.

An approach based on Positive Discipline and Responsive Classroom practices: respect, connection, and shared responsibility.
Predictable routines, clear expectations, and restorative conversations: discipline as learning, not punishment.
Socio-emotional wellbeing integrated into the day: circle time, reflection moments, and self-regulation tools.

Events and celebrations that build identity: International Day, cultural festivals, seasonal concerts, and assemblies.
Student showcases, guest speakers, and project presentations: the school as a space for expression.
