Daniele Buttiglione Joins ISB as Head of Physical Education

International School of Brindisi has appointed Daniele Buttiglione as the new head of the Physical Education department. The initiative reflects the school's commitment to integrating athletic preparation with personal development and mental coaching.

Buttiglione brings an extensive competitive and coaching background. A former athlete of the Italian national team in triple jump with 21 appearances, he is also a Military World Champion and four-time Italian champion. In addition to his athletic career, he has worked as a coach and athletic trainer, including serving as strength and conditioning coach for the Italian national skeleton team during an Olympic cycle.

The school emphasizes that sport should be seen not only as physical training but as a laboratory for character development, helping students build resilience, discipline, and focus. The initiative aligns with the institution's broader educational approach, which aims to combine academic growth with personal development and international opportunities.
